“Italian with Style” explores Central Italian cuisine, a festive food that has made Italian cuisine famous all over the world. The cuisine is known for its use of virgin olive oil, rich sauces, savory meats (such as Prosciutto!), fresh vegetables, olives, garlic (love it!), and basil… with a good wine thrown in to compliment the meal and sooth your soul. And, if that is not enough, this region is home to the Zen of all cheeses, Parmigiano-Reggiano, a cheese known for it strong and enduring flavor.

The savory part this menu is woven together using Parmigiano-Reggiano and Prosciutto, a cured meat that is 100% Italian. The appetizer is a Sun Dried Tomato Tart with Fontina and Prosciutto, a palette pleaser that will prepare you for the main meal, Chicken Saltimbocca with Creamy Potatoes and Arugula Salad. Mmmmm!

For those who like to geek out on a little food history, Chicken Saltimbocca traces its roots back to ancient Rome. Literally meaning “Jumps in your mouth”, it combines chicken, spinach, lemon, Parmigiano, and Prosciutto to create an explosion of sumptuous flavor!
