West Indians work hard, play hard, and love their food. Our goal is not just to teach you about our food, but to let you experience our culture… -Nicole
At Nicole’s Table we welcome foodies who love to learn new recipes, trade stories, and meet new people. We explore foods from across the Caribbean… some in their traditional forms and others with our own “Caribbean twist” which marries Caribbean and other cuisines. We use fresh ingredients as much as our little island allows us… so sometimes this means a menu will vary depending on what is available. Each “class” includes recipes for a starter, main course and a dessert along with our “old fashioned” rum punch, juice, or fresh water from our cisterns.
- Our Caribbean cooking classes are:
- Hands-on and laid back
- Offered in a local eco-friendly Caribbean home
- Last 3-4 hours
- Typically hold 4-8 people (Max 10)
- Have a great view of the Caribbean Sea! 😉
So, with all of that said, this makes our classes more like close friends sitting for a meal, than a formal learning experience. Visitors receive a full menu with recipes, Nicole’s Old Fashioned Rum Punch, soft beverages, and the food they prepare and cook.
The cost of our classes is US$110/person to US$125/person (except custom classes which can vary depending upon the menu or time of year).
